π―π² Become a Certified Skateboarding Instructor β Second Training Session!
Following the success of our first session, Jamaica Skate Culture is proud to announce the second edition of our Instructor Training Program β a unique opportunity to become a certified skateboarding instructor and contribute to the structured growth of skateboarding across the island.
This training is led by experienced, state-certified instructors from France, under the guidance of Benjamin Garcia (WCS World Champion 2017, European Champion 2018), and supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Jamaica.
πΉ Who Can Join?
Participants must already know the basics of skateboarding β you donβt need to be a pro, but you should be comfortable riding and have some control.
This program is for those who want to share their passion, teach others, and build positive change in their communities through skateboarding.
π° Stipend and Support
Thanks to the support of the Foundation, all selected participants will receive a daily stipend of 3500 JMD to help cover food and transportation costs.
If needed, accommodation in Bull Bay will also be arranged and covered by the Foundation.
ποΈ Training Schedule
Two weekends of training:
π Hours: 10:00 AM β 6:00 PM
π Locations: Bull Bay & Boston Bay skateparks (exact spots will be shared after registration)
π Final Exam
Either Monday, May 19 or Saturday, May 25
β±οΈ 1 hour 30 minutes per participant
ποΈ A certificate ceremony will be hosted at the Embassy of France in Kingston for all successful participants.
